The Sim Code Digi is a minimalist smartwatch face that focuses on providing only the essential information: the time, the date, and a low-battery indicator that appears when the battery level drops below 10%. Inspired by Pan Yong's previous design, Simple Code II, this new iteration takes a different approach by stripping away unnecessary elements and embracing the beauty of simplicity.

By eliminating extraneous icons and background elements, the Sim Code Digi creates a clean and uncluttered look that is both elegant and informative. The design features a pure black background with a vibrant red color for the time display, adding a touch of sophistication to the overall aesthetic.

One of the key design choices in the Sim Code Digi is the variation in font weight to differentiate between the hour and minute indicators. This allows users to quickly glance at their watch and instantly know the time. Alex Pan Yong began working on the Sim Code Digi in June 2020 in Singapore and completed the project in September 2020. The design was officially released on the Facer app and Google Play Store in September 2021, gaining recognition for its innovative approach to smartwatch design.

The Sim Code Digi has received accolades, including the Iron A' Design Award in the Interface, Interaction, and User Experience Design category in 2022.
